The coronavirus pandemic is starting to claim famous victims. Castaway star Tom Hanks has reported that he and his wife have tested positive for the virus. Hanks is in Australia, where he was working on a new movie. The movie's production is now in limbo, and Hanks is recovering in isolation. Read on for details.

Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The two-time Oscar winner confirmed his diagnosis in a statement on Twitter.
“Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches,” Hanks said.
“Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

The couple is in isolation and following the advice of medical officials, Hanks said.
