Tom Cruise and Scientology Face Allegations of Slave Labor

Tom Cruise kept a low profile for a few months last year. Now, however, he is front and center in the spotlight with the Church of Scientology and new claims that they use slave labor.

Slave labor? Wasn’t that abolished over 100 years ago?

The allegations against Tom and other members of the church are serious enough that the FBI is looking into matters and reviewing evidence. What happens if they find the allegations are true?

From FOX News:

"The FBI is investigating whether the Church of Scientology engages in human trafficking and uses unpaid labor -- including allegations that Tom Cruise had work done on his motorcycles and property by church members who were paid little if anything for their efforts, a new report reveals. The shocking 26-page exposé in The New Yorker focuses on 'Crash' director and Oscar-winning writer Paul Haggis' decision to quit the church - a spacey blend of self-help and science fiction that critics say uses brainwashing and coercion to indoctrinate and impoverish vulnerable recruits."

Is this smoke and mirrors by people who have a grudge against the church? There have been many people who have not liked this church from the beginning, so is someone else out to get him?

Tom has remained surprisingly mum on the topic and has not yet released a statement.

Does a lack of a denial mean there is some truth to what is going on?

We’ll find out when the FBI makes their decision…
