TNT Unveils First Trailer Trumpeting The Return Of 'Dallas'

TNT Unveils First Trailer Trumpeting The Return Of 'Dallas' It wasn't so long ago that we told you about the coming return of the Ewing family to prime-time TV with TNT's new generation of the 1978-1991 network drama "Dallas." Well, if reading wasn't believing, here's hoping a trailer will be.

TNT's "Dallas" will pick up a full generation after where the original series left off, with J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman) losing control of most of the Ewing Industries cattle and oil empire in a power struggle with his brother Bobby (Patrick Duffy).

Now, that same struggles falls on a new generation, led primarily by J.R. and ex-wife Sue Ellen's (Linda Gray) son John Ross Ewing (Josh Richardson) and Bobby's adopted son Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe). Also caught up in the feudin' and fussin' will be Elena (Jordana Brewster), caught up in a love triangle between the two next-generation Ewings; Christopher's fiancee, Rebecca (Julie Gonzalo); and Bobby's wife, Ann (Brenda Strong).

Hagman, Gray and Duffy will all be reprising their original series roles, as well. Set for an initial 10-episode run, "Dallas" will debut during Summer 2012.
