TLC Pulls '19 Kids and Counting' From Schedule

The end of "19 Kids and Counting" has begun.

TLC has reportedly pulled any and all episodes of the reality show from their schedule, making sure that the Duggar family remains off the air while the horrifying scandal that surfaced yesterday plays out.

Police reports from the early 2000's revealed yesterday that Josh Duggar, the eldest son in the Duggar family who has been a cast member since the beginning of the show, sexually abused a 14-year-old girl and four of his own sisters, who ranged in age from 4 to 12.

The reports, along with statements from sources, said that Duggar touched the breasts and genitals of the five victims while they slept at first, later abusing them while they were awake as well. Initially, the Duggar family put Josh through religious counseling and sent him off to do hard labor, but he eventually returned to the house where he continued to live with the siblings he molested. Josh never saw jail time due to the police losing track of his case and letting the statute of limitations pass.

A petition has been already circling to get TLC to pull "19 Kids and Counting" off the air. While TLC doesn't seem to have made any decision about canceling the show outright as of yet, the removal from the schedule doesn't bode well for the show's future.

Astonishingly, this isn't the first time TLC has had to make a decision about a show following reports of child molestation. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" came under fire when it was revealed that Mama June had dated a man who sexually abused her daughter, and that Mama June had reconnected with the man when he left prison.
