'This Is Us' Ratings Hit Series Low Mark
by EG
NBC's This Is Us is still the highest-rated scripted program on Tuesday nights, but it's not as much of a ratings juggernaut as it used to be. This week's episode tied for the lowest-rated episode since the debut of the series. Read on for details.
This Is Us and The Conners both hit their lowest adults 18-49 ratings ever on Tuesday, Nov. 13 — but were also the two top scripted shows of the night.
The Conners fell 0.3 from its last outing to a season-low 1.5 in the 18-49 demo. The rest of ABC's lineup declined as well: The Kids Are Alright (1.0) likewise dropped three-tenths of a point, Splitting Up Together (0.7) came down two-tenths and Black-ish (1.0) and The Rookie (0.7) slipped a tenth each.
NBC's This Is Us tied its series low of 2.0, initially set on Halloween in 2017 (when it aired opposite Game 6 of the World Series). It was off slightly from its last episode two weeks ago; New Amsterdam (1.1) declined by 0.2, while The Voice held at 1.6.
NCIS tied its season high of 1.4 for CBS, and FBI ticked up to 1.1 after four straight weeks at 1.0. NCIS: New Orleans was steady with a 0.9.
