This 'Toy Story' Honest Trailer Will Ruin Your Childhood

If you think that "Toy Story" is a happy children's movie about childhood and joy, then the people over at Screen Junkies have some bad news for you.

"Toy Story" is the subject of the latest "Honest Trailer" from Screen Junkies, which describes movies from a less Hollywood-ized perspective. Here, they explain that "Toy Story" is actually full of sadness that you never realized was there.

"Get ready for the classic children's film, that is all about jealousy, broken dreams, and the existential dread that you will one day outlive your purpose and be replaced by someone newer and better," the narrator says. It's pretty accurate when you think about it.

There's also the idea that poor Sid just wanted attention from his alcoholic father, and experimented with toys that he assumed were just lifeless hunks of plastic. How was he to know otherwise?

Oh, and our hero Woody is actually a "neurotic, mean, egotistical control freak."
