This Sunday: VH1 Classic Offers 'Pop Up Video' Marathon!

This Sunday: VH1 Classic Offers 'Pop Up Video' Marathon! It's back, baby! In anticipation of the reboot of "Pop Up Video," VH1 Classic will be providing a marathon of Pop Up Video episodes from the 1990's. You know, back in the days when people would actually sit down in front of the TV and watch music videos. Remember that?

For you young'uns out there who have no idea what I'm talking about, "Pop Up Video" was VH1's trivia spin on music videos, in which factoids (and a lot of puns) would pop up on screen while the videos played.

Now, a decade after the show went off the air, VH1 has ordered a whopping 60 episodes. Of course, all they really have to do is show music videos and add pop-up facts and jokes. It might be one of the most low-cost shows ever.

So for a dose of classic music from the 80's and 90's (Spice Girls, anyone?), tune in to VH1 Classic on Sunday, June 19 starting at 3:00pm for the "Pop Up Video" marathon. If you happen to miss that one, there will be two more marathons on Saturday, July 16 and Saturday, August 13 as well, leading up to the premiere of new episodes in the fall.

And for good measure, here's a Rickrollin' classic to remind you of how much fun "Pop Up Video" can be. Learn about Rick Astley's boozing ways!
