This 'Harry Potter' Detail Will Blow Your Mind

You might consider yourself a "Harry Potter" superfan. Maybe you've read the books through at least twice and seen every movie five times. But there's one detail about the final Potter movie that you still might have missed.

A tumblr user posted a clip from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" and noted that, even though the clip might just seem like a special effects orgy that serves only as action-sequence filler, it actually has a deeper meaning for the characters.

In the clip, Harry, Ron and Hermione run through the grounds of Hogwarts during the climactic battle, fighting off enemies as they go. Interestingly, there's a particular order in which they encounter these enemies.

First, an ogre of some kind swings a weapon at them, then they fight spiders, then they encounter a werewolf, and then there are dementors. That happens to mirror the enemies the young wizards face in the first three books/movies: the ogre in the bathroom, the spiders in the forest, the transformed Remus Lupin and the dementors on the Hogwarts grounds that Harry uses his patronus charm to repel.

Another tumblr user jumped in to note that the trio then meets up with the members of the Order of the Phoenix before finding Snape, a.k.a. the Half-Blood Prince. Pretty neat, huh?
