This Cover of the "Game of Thrones" Theme Song with Just Kitchen Items Is Amazing
by Andy NeuenschwanderYeah, we know, there have been a lot of covers of the "Game of Thrones" theme song before. Like, a lot of them. In fact, when the show premiered, we showed you a few different versions including an 8-bit one and a metal cover.
But this new video gets points for ingenuity, in addition to being just cool to listen to!
YouTuber Dan Newbie has recreated the "Game of Thrones" theme song, using only items you might find in your kitchen. His instruments include wine glasses and other glassware filled with various amounts of water (is that a parfait bowl we see? Delicious), along with some plastic jugs and frying pans.
From there, all Newbie needs are a few different mallets, like rubber spatulas or a rolling pin, and he's set to take you on a very whimsical-sounding musical journey.
This isn't the first time Newbie has taken to the kitchen to cover some theme songs: He's also taken on the Super Mario Bros. theme, and even recently covered the Internet's favorite Disney song, "Let It Go."
