That's 'Professor James Franco' To You!

James Franco has just about done it all as far as acting goes: he's starred in everything from TV comedy-dramas ("Freaks and Geeks") to daytime soaps ("General Hospital"), from wacky comedies ("Your Highness") to Oscar-nominated films ("127 Hours"). On top of that, Franco has hosted the Oscars, all while studying for his master's degree at NYU.

But Franco still isn't satisfied that he's busy enough. Now, the movie star will be teaching his own course at NYU's Tisch School of Arts.

Franco will offer a course in adapting poetry into short films to a lucky 12 students. That might seem an odd topic for Franco to choose, but if we've learned anything about him it's that he can pretty much do anything (except, depending on whom you ask, host the Oscars).

Franco is set to receive his MFA in film production in May. Whether Franco plans to make a career out of teaching or directing remains to be seen, but we know that he isn't giving up acting anytime soon: Franco is set to star in "Oz, the Great and Powerful" with Mila Kunis.

However, with that MFA in film production under his belt, you can expect that Franco will be getting behind the camera more often in the future. What will Franco's major motion picture directorial debut be?
