'Terminator: Genisys' Trailer Features Old Arnold and Khaleesi as Sarah Connor

The first trailer for the horribly spelled "Terminator: Genisys" is out, and it's...definitely a Terminator movie.

Fans were concerned when the first rumors of the movie's plot came out, saying that it would follow a new timeline in the "Terminator" universe in which a young Sarah Connor was raised as a child by Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator, which sounds more like the plot of a sitcom than a dark action film.

With this new trailer, it's clear that "Terminator: Genesis" is indeed taking itself very seriously. It focuses once again on Kyle Reese as he travels back in time to meet up with Sarah Connor, who is being pursued by a T-1000 and protected by Schwarzenegger's robot, who has aged in the years he's been looking after her. Perhaps he's partly biological now?

In a way, this movie is a reboot of the original "The Terminator" only with a much-altered timeline. Indeed, the movie seems to borrow elements from both "Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" as we have rehashes of the line, "Come with me if you want to live" and a very similar-looking villain robot to the T-1000.

Many of the visuals are even similar, with a car chase that looks awfully familiar, face-offs with semi trucks and helicopters, and other references to the first and second movies in the franchise.

This could all work out wonderfully, providing fans with a new story that maintains the tone and excitement of the first two Terminator movies.

Or, it could be absolutely terrible.
