Bathroom Wars: 'The X Factor' vs. 'Dancing With The Stars'

Bathroom Wars: 'The X Factor' vs. 'Dancing With The Stars' You know, it's not that I really needed further proof that many reality-TV shows are conceived by, staffed with and more often than not cast with people with roughly the maturity of the average infant.

Still, there's apparently some territory-marking going on around the CBS Television City studios.

Despite bearing the CBS name, the studios host shows spanning the major broadcast networks. In fact, it wasn't that long ago that an anthrax scare involving a "Dancing with the Stars" employee began when the studio received an envelope addressed to a show staffer and containing a mystery white powder.

But an uncivil war may be afoot. "Dancing With The Stars" crew members are going head-to-head with another glitzy talent cavalcade - Fox's "The X Factor" - with both sides more than ready to fight for their right to potty.

It seems that recently, a "Dancing With The Stars" crew member apparently named Rob came across a common bathroom bearing an "X Factor" logo. Thinking that some strange, inappropriate new branch of the "Occupy . . ." movement had splintered from the astute-with-adding-percentages-to-100 phenomenon, he decided to teach the latest Simon Cowell spawn's minions that sharing is caring.

Oh, and TMZ has the photo to prove it (see above).

To clarify, the note reads "These restrooms are for everyone. If you have a problem with that, come see me. I'm on stage 46. Just ask for Rob. I'm the 6'3" black man. DWTS."

Hey, Soviet Russia survivors! Take your toilet-paper lines and shove 'em! We've hit the point we'll throw down over the whole damn lavatory!

And in arguably the best response ever, an "X Factor" mouthpiece responded to this in no less than the New York Post by saying "Please tell Rob he's welcome to use our restrooms anytime!"

Ba-zing.
