Taylor Swift, Zac Efron and Betty White Confirmed for 'Dr. Seuss' The Lorax'

When "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" hits theaters next March it will have quite the ensemble cast.

Universal Pictures announced today that Taylor Swift will join the already stellar cast of characters.

Others confirmed for the film are cutie Zac Efron, Betty White, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms and Rob Riggle.

The animated film will be an adaptation of the 1971 book written by Dr. Seuss.

The plot focuses on a boy, Ted (voiced by Efron), who is searching for the one thing that will win over the girl of his dreams. In order to find what he is looking for, he must first discover the story of the grumpy creature known as the Lorax.

Danny DeVito will play the Lorax and Betty White will be the voice for the role of Ted's grandmother.

The Wrap was the first to confirm Swift as an addition to the cast, adding that she will voice the character of Audrey, the girl of Ted's dreams.

The 3D CGI-animated movie is set for release on March 2nd, 2012 which would have been Dr. Seuss' 108th birthday!
