Taylor Momsen Quits Acting for Rock

In an interview with Elle, former "Gossip Girl" starlet-turned-rock-star Taylor Momsen says she's done being a thespian.
"I quit acting, actually. I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that's pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I'll be able to only do that for the rest of my life."
Momsen has indeed been living the life of a bona fide rock star. As we reported last month, while playing with her band The Pretty Reckless in Barcelona, the 17-year-old got frisky with a female concert-goer, giving an impromptu lap dance.
Back in June, she came under fire when she took to the stage at the Download Festival in a see-through top with only well-placed pieces of duct tape as coverage.
The transformation from clean-cut good girl on "Gossip Girl" to where she is now has been nothing short of dramatic.
As Yidio writer Morgan Glennon puts it, "she started her run on 'Gossip Girl' a fresh-faced ingenue and ended it with a look that can best be described as Courtney Love meets 'Corpse Bride.'"
Looks like that's right about where she's planning on staying for a while...
