Taylor Armstrong Tells 'ET' Of Alleged Abuses; Some Claim She's Lying

Taylor Armstrong Tells 'ET' Of Alleged Abuses; Some Claim She's Lying "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" cast member Taylor Armstrong's sit-down interview with "Entertainment Tonight" debuted Tuesday evening, and Armstrong delved deeply into an alleged over 20 incidents of abuse by her late husband, Russell.

It's Armstrong's first extensive televised interview since her husband was found having hung himself, as officially determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, in the couple's Beverly Hills home Aug. 15.

His family, including Taylor, have recently been trying to launch a private investigation into whether or not his death was a murder connected to people he may have owed money.

Taylor first allegedly endured her now-late husband's abuse when she was pregnant with their daughter Kennedy. Russell lost his temper over what Taylor had cooked for dinner, she claimed, and held her against a wall by her throat. She then alleged that he threatened her, "'If you ever make my children a pizza without a vegetable again, I'll kill you.'"

She also claimed that he would often grab her hair on one side, and slam the other against a side of the family's car.

"He mentioned he was afraid he might kill me, and I think he meant in an almost accidental way, that he would get so angry at me at some time that he would hit me, and I would hit something, or he would grab me by the neck and something would go wrong," she said.

Then there's the tale of her now-infamous eye injury. Shortly after her July 5 Lasik eye surgery, Taylor claimed, Russell struck her hard enough that the blow detached her corneal flap, nearly costing Taylor her vision. She claimed to have told doctors that it was a kick from Kennedy and not a slap from Russell that did the damage, allegedly to spare Russell jail on a spousal abuse charge.

"Because Russell told me to tell him that. And Russell went with me to the appointment, and sat in the chair with me the entire time," Taylor said. "And when I came out of the flap repair, he immediately came into the recovery room with me, and stayed there until I left."

Taylor's abuse claims have started wearing on some.

Russell's attorney, Ronald Richards, claims the bruises sported by Taylor are more than likely caused by plastic surgery.

"If Mr. Armstrong was the cause of those injuries he would have been arrested and prosecuted," Richards claimed.
