Syfy's Big Night: 'Eureka,' 'Warehouse 13' and 'Alphas' Premiere Tonight (Watch Previews)

Consider it "Monday Night Football" for geeks.

Syfy is unveiling the new Monday night lineup tonight they're calling "Powerful Mondays" with the season premieres of three original dramatic series, including new seasons of "Eureka" and "Warehouse 13," as well as the series premiere of the brand new "Alphas." If superhuman superabilities are your superfavorite, this is your supernight.

In its fourth season, the popular series Eureka follows U.S. Marshall Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) and the residents of Eureka, Oregon (home of Global Dynamics, an advanced top-secret research facility) as they explore the far outer limits of science, technology and geek-chic sexiness - getting themselves into a non-stop series of surreal messes in the process (including space ships and time travel).

Part "The X-Files" part "National Treasure," "Warehouse 13" follows two supernaturally gifted Secret Service agents, Pete Lattimore (Eddie McClintock) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) as they run down new top-secret artifacts for the government's Area 51-like "Warehouse 13." The series is in its third season.

"Alphas" stars Academy Award-nominated "Goodnight, and Good Luck" star David Strathairn as he trains a five-person team of supernaturally gifted crime fighters as they learn to expand their powers and fight criminals with powers similar to their own. "X-Men: The Last Stand" writer Zak Penn is at the helm of this latest Syfy offering, and if anyone can capture the challenges of superbeings, it's Penn.

Eureka
8 p.m. EST

"The town where anything is possible returns with all-new adventures. In our sneak peak 'Liftoff,' Fargo is busy working on a spaceship when Zane hops on board to grill him about Lupo, closing the hatch behind him. Unfortunately for both of them the ignition switches were on and with the hatch closed the ship’s engines ignite and launches both of them into outer space!  Catch the extended clip to see how things went terribly wrong and tune in to the premiere this Monday to see if Sheriff Carter can get them safely back to Earth."

Warehouse 13
9 p.m. EST

"The team gets a new face, new mysteries and a visit from familiar friends. Artie, Pete and Claudia welcome Steve as a new warehouse agent and during the introduction they discover a storm brewing at the Pyramid in the Ancient Archives. Artie and Claudia race into the office to figure out what the storm is while Steve stands in awe, shocked that a Pyramid can fit into a warehouse at all."

"Alphas"
10 p.m. EST

"In this series, Dr. Lee Rosen, an expert in Alpha phenomena, brings together five people with the unique power to stretch the capabilities of the human mind, giving them superhuman physical and mental abilities.  Together, they investigate cases that point to others with Alpha abilities. As they work against the clock to solve this new brand of crime, they must prevent their own personality differences and disparate backgrounds from interfering with their ultimate mission to catch the enemy."
