Steve Jobs to Receive a Grammy

Steve Jobs continues to rack up awards, even after he has left us. He was named Barbara Walter's "Most Fascinating Person" earlier this month, and now the ingenious technology entrepreneur will be honored with a posthumous Grammy Award for his contributions to the music industry.

Jobs is one of three honorees this year to receive Trustee's award recognizing "outstanding contributions to the industry in a nonperforming capacity."

"This year's honorees offer a variety of brilliance, contributions and lasting impressions on our culture," said Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow in a statement.

"It is an honor to recognize such a diverse group of individuals whose talents and achievements have had an indelible impact on our industry," said Portnow.

Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in October of this year, causing an outpouring of grief, remembrance and support for a man who fundamentally changed the face of technology, business and the world at large.
