Star Trek Actress Arrested for Indecent Exposure
by EG
Jennifer Lien, who starred in the Star Trek spin-off Stra Trek: Voyager, became that latest troubled celebrity to have a high-profile run-in with police. The actress was arrested at her home in Tennessee on September 3 and charged with various crimes, including indecent exposure.
The arrest was the culmination of an incident in which Lien clashed with a neighbor. The neighbor alleged that Lien became enraged, lifted her top and dropped her pants after the neighbor passed by Lien house and made comments to Lien. When police arrived at Lien's home, they found her naked beneath a blanket, and they claim she resisted arrest.
Lien also had a confrontation with her hometown police in April in which she was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault after she allegedly rammed a police vehicle with her car.
Lien starred on Star Trek: Voyager from 1995 to 2000. She played Kes, a medical assistant on the star ship helmed by Commanding Officer Kathryn Janeway.
