Already know something will be keeping you from the start of the eighth and last season of "Desperate Houswives"?

Barely interested enough to want to know what happens, but nowhere near interested enough to actually watch?

The season premiere starts in a few short weeks, and this is what we know so far, via an ABC synopsis posted on Perez Hilton:

Picking up where last season left off, Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) has the blood - and dead body - of Gaby's (Eva Longoria) evil stepfather on his hands as the price of protecting his wife.

The pair must join Bree (Marcia Cross), Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Susan (Teri Hatcher) in dumping the body where it can't be found and hope it won't be missed. Unfortunately, guilt won't be ignored.

Gaby has enough on her hands assuaging Carlos' conscience. Susan meanwhile becomes withdrawn from the loved ones around her. The cover-up only only builds Lynette's existing stress over her coming separation from Tom.

Worst of all, Bree has the bad luck and bad timing of dating Det. Chuck Vance. Renee (Vanessa Williams), meanwhile, decides she'll make new neighbor Ben Faulkner her new order of business.

The new season premieres Sept. 25 on ABC.
