Spencer Pratt Wants to Intern for Ryan Seacrest

Spencer Pratt Wants to Intern for Ryan Seacrest The words “smart” and “Spencer Pratt” rarely make their way into the same sentence.

Until now, the former “Hills” star has received little respect from the public – let alone recognition for a bright idea. In making an effort to show he is earnest about redemption – and quite possibly brilliant – Pratt is pleading with Ryan Seacrest for a job as an intern.

According to UsMagazine, Pratt wrote to Seacrest’s talent broker, explaining he was trying to change his image and become more likeable.

You can't fault Pratt's taste in internships. If you're gonna learn the ropes, you might as well aim high. As Yidio reported recently, Seacrest has recently replaced Simon Cowell atop the Hollywood Reporter's Reality Power List, taking the number one spot.

In an interview on Seacrest’s radio show, Pratt explained his evil-genious.

"How do you go from being hated to even a little bit likable? It's about who you're around," Pratt said. "I've learned you need to be around likable people to even start to be likable. Who's the most likable person in America, if not the world? That would be Ryan Seacrest."

Pratt said he’s ready to start a new chapter, and is getting bored with his wife Heidi Montag being away all day for a new project.

"I'm twiddling my thumbs all day like, 'I need to get a job," he said.

It’s not clear whether or not Seacrest will give him a second chance, but Heidi can be seen in an upcoming VH1 series along with “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”  star Danielle Staub and Jake Pavelka from “The Bachelor.”
