'Sons of Anarchy' EP Says 7th Season Will Be the Last

'Sons of Anarchy' EP Says 7th Season Will Be the Last Any good show has to come to an end eventuallly, and yes, that includes the beloved "Sons of Anarchy." In fact, it would seem that the show's executive producer, Paris Barclay, already knows when and how the show is going to end, according to some comments he made in an interview with EW.

"I think if you think you know what’s gonna happen at the end of seven seasons, which is currently what we’re planning to do, you’d be wrong," said Barclay. That indicates that the "SOA" team already knows how the series will end, and that it will end after its seventh season.

That gives fans just a few more seasons of enjoyment, as "Sons of Anarchy" season 5 is set to premiere later this year. As for what we can expect from the season 5 premiere, Barclay simply had this to say: "If there's one word to describe the season opener, it's explosive... we're coming out guns blazing."

With Jimmy Smits joining the cast as a gang member and mentor to Jax, and Ashley Tisdale joining as a call girl, things will certainly be interesting in the new season.
