'Sons of Anarchy' Actor Suspected in Murder-Suicide
by Andy NeuenschwanderShocking news out of Hollywood today, as a regular actor on "Sons of Anarchy" is suspected of murdering an elderly woman before committing suicide by leaping to his death.
Johnny Lewis, who is known to "Sons of Anarchy" fans as Kip "Half-Sack" Epps, was found dead on Wednesday outside the home of 81-year-old Catherine Davis, who was also dead when authorities arrived. Reports from neighbors say that Davis was screaming during an altercation with Lewis, who later went outside and argued with neighbors before climbing up on the roof of the house. He was later found dead on the driveway.
Authorities are still piecing together what happened, but they suspect that Lewis was renting from Davis, killed her after an argument, and then either jumped or fell to his death after climbing onto the roof.
The 28-year-old actor had a reasonably steady career, having appeared in an arc on "The O.C." and had various guest roles on shows like "Cold Case" and "Criminal Minds." He also recently appeared in "The Runaways" with Kristen Stewart, and is said to have dated Katy Perry at one point.
We will provide updates if and when the authorities determine the cause of death for Davis and whether Lewis is the culprit.
