Snoop Dogg Rejects 'The X Factor'

While walking Nickelodeon’s orange carpet for the Kid’s Choice Awards Saturday Snoop Dogg revealed that he turned down "The X Factor."

Cowell wanted Snoop, who was honored with a sliming that evening, to serve as a judge. Snoop told Digital Spy he would rather go on the show as a mentor.

In the meantime, Snoop would like to get his daughter Cori a reality show.

“I'm trying to do a TV show for my daughter, I'm getting that off the ground because she wants to do her thing,” Snoop said. “She wants to see this world, so I'm going to drop her off and let her do her thing.”

In addition to getting covered with ooze, Snoop performed with the boy band Big Time Rush and said he enjoyed keeping it fresh with the KCA.

"When the kids appreciate and love you, it just makes you realize that you're never getting too old. It's a great feeling to be here and feel the warmth,” he said.
