Snooki Taken Into Police Custody in Italy During 'Jersey Shore' Filming

You can take the girl out of the Jersey Shore, but you can't take the Jersey Shore out of the girl. And you certainly can't keep her from getting arrested, either.

"Jersey Shore" star Snooki was taken into police custody in Florence, Italy while shooting the fourth season of the hit MTV show. Apparently, Snooki was driving (with Jwoww in the passenger seat) and wasn't paying attention, and she got into a little fender-bender. The only problem is, the car she hit was a police car. Whoops.

Luckily for Snooki, no alcohol was involved...at least according to the reports. Also, no one was injured. I know, kinda boring. Wouldn't it be crazy if Snooki killed a guy?

This accident comes on the heels of a load of controversy as the "Jersey Shore" cast arrived in Italy. The Mayor of Florence released a set of rules for the cast, which included forbidding them from being filmed drinking in public or even hanging out at a place that serves alcohol. The reason for the precautions is that many Italians are opposed to the show, as they see the cast's behavior as painting Italians in a negative light.

Given the way we've seen the cast members drive in the past, it's not a huge surprise that one of them hit something. In fact, it was practically an inevitability (did you see the way Deena drove last season?). The fact that it was a cop car is just an extra bit of hilarious...it should be fun to see this play out when the show airs.
