Watch: Snooki Tells Conan She Scrubs Her Face With Kitty Litter

The truth behind how some people keep themselves looking and feeling healthy can be much stranger than fiction. For example, Snooki uses something that generally just keeps cat crap from stinking.

Possibly the most famous face of MTV's "Jersey Shore" showed up on "Conan" recently and started dishing beauty tips. She revealed that to keep her tanned complexiion looking and feeling flawless, she uses a special facial scrub made from kitty litter.

It sounds odd, or maybe like something particularly weird that only Snooki could've dreamed up. But it's not much of a secret.

Author Kym Douglas actually talks about making the beautiful best of the gritty pet product in her book "The Black Book of Hollywood Beauty Secrets," which she's recently made the "CBS Early Show" and "CBS Evening News" rounds explaining that the rough substance is pretty thrifty.

"I like to Google a lot. And I don’t like to spend a lot of money on spa treatments, just because I’m, like, a cheapo. So I Googled what else I could use that’s, like, not so expensive, and it was cat litter!” Snooki excitedly told late night's favorite ginger.
