Snooki Brings You The News; Journalism World Shudders (Video)

During my entire journalistic education, it was already clear that few people in their right minds could take the American mass media seriously.

Now comes a moment when maybe the likes of Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Keith Olberman, Nancy Grace and other fake newscasters should feel appalled that even fake American newscasts could be so egregiously mocked.

Courtesy of the website Cambio, Snooki recently took on burdens of informing and educating the masses previously bore by Walter Cronkite, Sam Donaldson, Edward R. Murrow, Tom Brokaw, and to a much less impressive extent, Connie Chung and Katie Couric, as part of the new web series "The News According to Snooki."

The really, really sad part?

It's still only slightly worse than watching Fox News and MSNBC repeatedly misspell - sometimes misspelling it differently on different occasions(!) - a certain deposed Libyan dictator's last name.

G-A-D-H-A-F-I, guys. No K-H-A-D-D-A-F-Y. You're paid the big bucks. Spell like it.
