The Situation Bombs During Donald Trump Roast

The Situation Bombs During Donald Trump Roast Apparently, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's jokes aren't as strong as his abs. The "Jersey Shore" star performed some material at the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump, and apparently bombed so badly that he was met with boos from the crowd.

Sitch tried some "Jersey Shore" related humor, turning to Whitney Cummings with this gem: "I actually wouldn't call you a grenade because you won't be blowing up anytime soon." Ouch.

Comedian Jeffrey Ross shot Sorrentino down when Sitch made excuses for his performance: "This is my first night doing comedy," said Sitch. "It's also your last," Ross responded.

Marlee Matlin, who is currently appearing in "Celebrity Apprentice," might have had the Situation zinger of the night: the actress (who is deaf) signed, "Like the Situation, I too have never heard the sound of laughter." Boom!

But Sitch, who is notoriously good at shedding criticism, wasn't bothered by all the ribbing and the audience response. "My whole career people have been hard on me," said Sorrentino. "I stood in the pocket where a lot of people would crumble, a lot of people would walk off stage, but I stood in there. I delivered."

Atta boy, Sitch. Stick to your guns. Even if they're firing puffs of smoke.
