Singer Katy Perry Tapes Cameo for 'How I Met Your Mother'

The newlywed Katy Perry was on set this week where "How I Met Your Mother" is filmed. Katy has a guest role playing the cousin to Jennifer Morrison’s character.

Do you think Katy’s cameo will generate a lot of interest in the show? Do you think she can even act? Sure, she married Russell Brand and he is funny, but did it transfer to her, or did she already have some ability?

Katy has been scheduled for this spot for a little bit. It will air during the next sweeps in February during the first week.

Can Katy help the ratings? From Radar Online:

"The 26-year-old pop princess, who tied the knot with British funnyman Russell Brand in an October 2010 wedding ceremony in India, was decked out in a red top and lady-bug patterned skirt in her appearance on the CBS comedy. The episode, which features the Teenage Dream singer as a cousin of the character Zoey (Jennifer Morrison), will air February 7."

So, she is wearing a ladybug like skirt? They don’t happen to mention if it is latex!

Katy is known for her crazy and colorful outfits while performing on stage in concert, but will it happen on TV too? Katy also has some great videos, but those are set to music and not scripts.
