'She's All That' Is Getting a Reboot with Diverse Cast

If a 90's teen movie is remade in 2015, is it still a 90's teen movie?

That's the philosophical quandary we'll be asking when a remake of "She's All That" hits theaters next year...at least it will according to The Wrap, who is reporting that a remake is in the works.

The remake will come from Miramax, who produced the original, and will be directed by Kenny Leon, who helmed the recent remake of "Steel Magnolias" with an African-American cast.

Similar to the "Steel Magnolias" remake, the new "She's All That" will be developed "with diverse leads in mind" according to the reports.

Already fans have started chiding Hollywood for its lack of originality, and even original "She's All That" star Freddie Prinze Jr. weighed in on the subject: "Tough for writers with original scripts," he responded to a Twitter user who sent him the link complaining of Hollywood "running out of ideas."

All that's left now is to count down the days until we get a remake of "The Breakfast Club."
