Let’s hope for her sake those truth-spoutin’ hips bounce right back after pregnancy!

Gorgeous and flexible singer Shakira has confirmed that she and boyfriend Gerard Piqué are expecting their first child together, reportedly a boy.

“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!” the singer announced on her Facebook page in both English and Spanish.

“At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days… I’d like to thank Clear Channel and my fans for their constant love and understanding…Big kiss! And will see you very soon!”

These mentioned “promotional activities” include the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

Shakira did not include information on how far along she is or when she is due, but since sources are saying that the Colombian-born lady is expecting a boy, it’s fair to assume she’s more than a handful of months in.

Shakira, 35, and her 25-year old soccer-playing man (nicely done!) confirmed their relationship last year. Rumors had been circulating since June that the throaty singer was knocked up, but nothing was announced.

You can catch Shakira this spring on NBC’s “The Voice,” stepping in for judge Christina Aguilera, where she’ll be pulling in a cool 12 million on that paycheck.
