On-Set Pics From 'Catching Fire!' Check Out a Shirtless Sam Clafin!

It’s official! Sketchy long-distance photographs from the set of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” are starting to trickle in.
Most notable among the collection? Sam Clafin embracing the character of Finnick Odair, shirtless, fair-haired and all.
What do you think?
The man looks good without a shirt, no doubt about that. Does he embody the Finnick Odair you had in mind?
I’ll admit I’m still a little skeptical… and a bit heartbroken that hottie Garrett Hedlund got the shaft for this flick, but Clafin, I’m open to being convinced.
He does manage to look pretty comfortable in a wet suit, as well—something I don’t think I can bring myself to say about Katniss Everdeen cutie Jennifer Lawrence and our hero Peeta, who both seem a little unsure of themselves in the tight gear.
But, if you’re familiar with the book, that’s to be expected.
Side note—are they using essentially the same goldish blond dye for both Josh Hutcherson and Clafin? Hard to tell in the shots, but I’m hoping the budget allots for a little more freedom of hair choice.
Oh, and, sorry, ladies. In case you were wondering, the green-eyed, chisel-abed Clafin is engaged to 26-year-old Laura Haddock, a British actress.
“Catching Fire” won’t hit theaters until November of 2012, but you can expect that lots of photos and teasers will be trickling in until then, keeping audiences’ interest piqued. Let’s hope the next batch gets us a wee bit closer to the actors, but for now, we’ll take what we can get off their Atlanta film set.
