'Selfie' Season 1, Episode 10: 'Imperfect Harmony' Recap

Eliza is elated with her revelation that she loves Henry, though Charmonique reminds her that Henry has a girlfriend...

Henry goes to HR to explain what happened, and HR pulls out quite a hefty folder on Eliza's inter-office dalliances.

It's time for the annual karaoke party. Everyone at work is excited, except for Henry, who is too busy avoiding Eliza. Finally she manages to corner him and demands a response to her admittance that she loves him.

He is thrown. He didn't realize stripping naked meant love in Eliza's world. He wants time to consider.

Meanwhile, Freddy is a heartbroken wreck. He begs Eliza to come back to him, or at least to hook up with him casually again.

Eliza goes to Charmonique for advice, and Bryn chimes in, but both women have nothing constructive to offer, so Eliza decides the best thing to do is just go to Henry and find out what he wants.

At the karoke party, a drunk Freddy is mourning the loss of his woman, and claims to Henry that Eliza is just afraid, and trying to sabotage her first real relationship. Henry realizes this is probably what is happening.

She goes to the party without even getting herself made up, something she has never done before. She confronts Henry about what she said, and tells him he's clearly not in love with Julia. Henry tells her that she is just afraid and uncertain, which she calls bull on.

Julia overhears, and is crushed.

Henry finds Eliza and tells her that he is going with Julia, who is waiting for him, and rejects Eliza. She sings a sad solo, gets drunk, and goes to hook up with Freddy.

Henry lied about Julia. She wants to patch things up, but he hasn't called her, so she knows it is over. Henry sings his own sad solo once everyone has left the party.
