Selena Gomez broke her silence about her kidney transplant.
“My kidneys were just done. That was it,” a tearful Gomez told Savannah Guthrie in a sitdown with donor Francia Raisa, set to air Monday and Tuesday on “Today.”
“I didn’t want to ask a single person in my life, and that was the day I came home and I found out. [Raisa] volunteered and did it.”
Gomez, 25, underwent the transplant in secret in May, revealing the ordeal only in September.
The “Bad Liar” singer required the operation as a result of complications from lupus, which she’s struggled with openly for years.
