See a Series of 'Hunger Games' PSA Propaganda Posters
by Andy NeuenschwanderNow that "The Hunger Games" is in its second weekend in theaters and just about everyone has seen it (after all, it earned over $152.5 million in its first weekend), it's officially time to mock it. Gently, of course.
The Internet is already working on some "Hunger Games" memes: one popular one includes rewriting lyrics to popular songs to make them about Peeta and his burnt bread. Hey, it's the Internet. What did you expect?
Collegehumor has its own contribution to the party: a series of propaganda PSA posters that warn about the dangers of living in Panem. So THAT'S how the Capitol made sure all the districts knew the rules when they didn't have electricity.
Included are some clever takes on what to do in case of a Tracker Jacker attack, some warnings about spaying and neutering your muttations, and a plea to become a sponsor and send some much-needed supplies to a teenage contestant in need.
Check out some of the posters below, and take a look at the rest of them over at Collegehumor.
