A Trip to Dumbledore's Office: See Hogwarts History with 'Harry Potter' Studio Tour in 2012

Die-hard Harry Potter fans have their own wands, know all the words from "A Very Potter Musical," and have made their pilgrimmage to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida.

In early 2012, there will be a new destination for fans of the Rowling series: Leavesden Studios, the London-based studio where all of the "Harry Potter" movies were filmed over the past decade, will be offering studio tours.

Fans will be able to see authentic pieces of the "Harry Potter" series of films, including sets, props, costumes, and animatronics.

While the Wizarding World might have a full replica of Hogwarts and well-known rooms like the Great Hall, the studio tour will allow you to walk through the real Great Hall, a 120ft by 40ft room built specifically for the movies.

Tour-goers will also be able to visit spaces like Dumbledore's office and see original props like the Sorting Hat and Gryffindor's Sword. Sadly, you probably won't be able to put on the Sorting Hat and find out which house you should be placed in. That thing still works, right?

You can check out the tour website for more information about the tour and tickets. The tour will open to the public in spring of 2012, just under a year after the upcoming release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," opening on July 15th of this year.
