The Search for Santa Paws Movie Review

I'm a big family film lover. And the dog movies just do it for me. I'm a sucker for the cute dog films with the little kids and yes, Christmas. So when The Search for Santa Paws came out on DVD, yes I ran to the store to buy it with my coupons in hand. I was not disappointed.

Santa has lost his memory, apparently even he gets a bit lost, hard to believe, huh? Without a memory Santa won't ever be able to fulfill his yearly Christmas duties and deliver presents to children all over the world. So a magic pack of dogs, an elf and two children set out to find Old Saint Nick and help restore his jolly good memory so Christmas can go on as planned.

The kids are delightful and the elf is quite funny. And what can you say about the dogs? They're puppies so of course they are adorable. The storyline has its moments of delusions but hey it's a kid flick what can you expect?

Overall it's a fun film the whole family can curl up and enjoy over a bowl of popcorn. My one year old watched about half of it, mainly because of the dogs I assume. And for a one year old I thought that was pretty decent. I'm sure older children, especially those in the pre-school and elementary age will find this film simply delightful. Parents will equally find it enchanting.

Two thumbs up on this fun family holiday film.
