Sean Lowe Considered To Be ABC's Next 'Bachelor'

Sean Lowe Considered To Be ABC's Next 'Bachelor' A man who nearly won Emily Maynard's hand could become the centerpiece of ABC's next "The Bachelor," according to Us Weekly.

Sean Lowe was one of current "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard's last three suitors with an opportunity to win her hand this season. Though Maynard sent him home following the overnight dates, wild popularity and a heart of gold will often together win second chances. Should ABC's reported first choice bow out, producers are reportedly interested in tapping Lowe for the next season of "The Bachelor."

As a source close with production said to Us Weekly of the Texas insurance salesman, "He's emotional and good looking. He'd be the hottest 'Bachelor' ever."

Lowe's "emotional" bent this season at one point sent Lowe running through European streets one night to find Maynard when he simply couldn't bear another moment apart from her. His tearful departure is regarded as one of Maynard's most difficult decisions and the most wrenching moment in the show's run.

"It never entered into my thoughts that I was going home that evening. I was thinking about being a father and a husband," Lowe told Chris Harrison during the recent "Men Tell All" special.

Martinez, though? He's been hesitant, Us claims. The 2011 "Bachelorette" fan-favorite contestant is coming off a broken engagement to Ali Fedotowsky that's provided steady tabloid fodder recently, and he's reportedly hesitant to take ABC's bait. He recently conferred on the phone with Maynard to gain her assurance that the compensation he'd receive would be worth a life-altering experience that guarantees consummate public scrutiny of his life's most personal points.

"Emily told Roberto that it was the time of her life, and she hates that the experience is over," the Us source said.
