Scarlett Johansson Laughs Off Nude Photos with Letterman (VIDEO) Last night on late night, Scarlett Johansson opened up to David Letterman about the nude photos that were hacked from her phone and posted all over the Web. Yet, surprisingly, she did it with a smile and a laugh.

"I don't know why I'm laughing, it was terrible," said ScarJo, after calling the cyber attack "unfortunate, really." Letterman offered a different view on the matter: "On the other hand, a way to look at it is a lovely thing for mankind," said the "Late Show" host.

The photos were stolen as part of a series of attacks allegedly perpetrated by one man, 35-year-old Florida resident Christopher Chaney.

Other targeted celebrities included Mila Kunis, though she got away without having any nude photos of herself released. The high profiles of the targets and the wide net the hacker was casting prompted the FBI to get involved with the case.

ScarJo was exceptionally good-natured throughout the conversation with Letterman, but her smile was biggest when Letterman noted that Chaney could face up to 100 years in prison. "Yes, apparently," she responded, flashing a satisfied smile and a nod to the audience.
