Scarlett Johansson Calls Ivanka a Coward

Scarlett Johansson, who played a "complicit" Ivanka Trump on "Saturday Night Live" last month, says she's "disappointed" by President Trump’s elder daughter for acting "cowardly."

"I've been thinking a lot about Ivanka Trump actually very recently," the "Ghost in the Shell" actress told Arianna Huffington on Thursday at the Women in the World Summit in New York.

“[Ivanka Trump] said something which I found particularly disappointing, which is that she felt the greatest change that she was going to … make actually would be behind closed doors — nobody would actually know that she had made this change," Johansson said, referring to Trump’s interview with “CBS This Morning” co-anchor Gayle King that aired Wednesday.

“I thought to myself, well that’s empowering,” Johansson said. “I mean, how old-fashioned, this idea that behind a great man is a great woman. What about being in front of that person? Or next to them? Or standing on your own?”
