Documentary or Pre-Announcement Commercial? Watch the Trailer For the New Sarah Palin Documentary 'The Undefeated'
by Sean Comer
Let the Sarah Palin Guessing Game begin anew. Is she running for President in 2012? Will she stay out of it?
The only thing guaranteed about Palin right now might prove a hint one way or the other: the premiere of the trailer for the behind-the-scenes documentary about her 2008 Vice Presidential bid along side Presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, "The Undefeated."
Director Stephen Bannon self-financed the documentary, which follows Palin's surprising rise and controversial public persona throughout the 2008 White House bid alongside McCain. Bannon garnered support for his documentary after his Fox News Tea Party doc "Generation Zero" earned vast right-wing acclaim.
Palin and Bannon recently premiered the documentary in Iowa, which led to speculation that she's performing an image overhaul before officially announcing her candidacy in time for the Iowa Caucuses this January. The film hits theaters in limited release July 15.
