Samantha Bee to Roast Trump on TBS

Samantha Bee, host of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, will host a roast of President Donald Trump that will air on TBS, likely at the same time as the White House Correspondents' DInner - if that traditional event even takes place.
The White House Correspondents' DInner is traditionally a banquet at which the press and the President playfully poke fun at one another. However, given Donald Trump's open and very real hostility toward journalists and his unwillingness to accept even joking criticism, it's seemingly increasingly unlikely that he will be willing to participate this year. And even if he is, it's likely that journalists would refuse to attend.
Bee's event, at which she and as-yet-unannounced celebrity guests will humorously criticize Trump, will be held on April 29 at the Willard Hotel in Washington, DC. TBS will televise the event, although exact timing hasn't been nailed down yet.
Trump has, so far, proven to be extremely sensitive to parodies of himself presented by comedians. He regularly tweets angry responses whenever Alec Baldwin impersonates him on Saturday Night Live, typically accusing Baldwin of being "unfunny" and SNL of having low ratings (which it doesn't).
