Salma Hayek Says Daughter Could Have Been at Manchester Concert

Like many, Salma Hayek has yet to come to terms with Monday’s suicide bombing, which killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

“I’m not sure what to feel today. I’m terrified and I don’t know what to say to my daughter [Valentina],” the actress said Tuesday at the Cannes Film Festival. “And I’m not going to pretend that I’m sorted out, that I’m very smart about it, because I’m still emotionally impacted.”

Hayek, 50, said her 9-year-old daughter would have attended the concert had it taken place in London.
