Ryan Seacrest Planning Music-Themed Show for NBC...Will It Compete With 'American Idol?'

Maybe it's all just a clever ruse to scare them into giving him a bigger contract for further exclusivity? Right now Seacrest earns $15 million a year for "American Idol," but given his long-time commitment to the show, he's probably hungry for more.
