Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively: See the Ring!!

Well, the pictures are in of the ring that dream couple Ryan Reynolds locked Blake Lively down with, and it. Is. Impressive.

The “Gossip Girl” and “Green Lantern” stars married in a surprise ceremony last week, bumming a large portion of us out. The two snuck away to Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina to exchange some sneaky vows at Boone Hall Plantation.

Guests were treated to songs by Florence Welch, of Florence + The Machine, who is a personal friend of Lively’s.

Since the two were incredibly private about their relationship, and only went public about a year ago after being spotted together multiple times, it’s no surprise that the wedding was a big hush-hush affair and only around 60 guests were invited.

The ring was designed by Lorraine Schwartz, and it is both extremely large and very beautiful. Lively’s finger is going to be putting on muscle carting that thing around. Apparently the diamond is so large it needs reinforced with double bands?

No word in on how much that cost Reynolds, but safe to say more than most of us make in a year. Or two.

What do you think of the ring? Kind of more ostentatious than the one he slapped on ex-wife, Scarlet Johansson, but also a little more modern.

Whether or not we like the ring, and regardless of if we cry ourselves to sleep over the fact that Reynolds is off the market (cross that option off the list…), Reynolds, 35, and Lively, 25, do make a pretty adorable, smiley couple.

Here’s wishing them a lifetime of happiness… or a quickie divorce so the rest of us can have a crack at him before he loses his looks.
