Ryan Murphy Reveals 'Glee' Roles for 'Glee Project' Winners

Ryan Murphy Reveals 'Glee' Roles for 'Glee Project' Winners "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has revealed the possible roles for the finalists of "The Glee Project" on the show...so, possible SPOILERS ahead!

The original plan for "The Glee Project" was to find one actor/singer/dancer worthy of a role on the third season of "Glee," but Ryan Murphy found four. The winners, Damian McGinty and Sam Larsen, will be featured heavily with their own arcs, while finalists Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell will find their way onto the show in a smaller capacity.

So, what will their roles be? For Damian, Murphy revealed that his first episode is already being shot: "He is a foreign exchange student who is shacking up with Brittany and she of course believes he is to be a leprechaun with magical powers." Of course.

Sam Larsen, meanwhile, will probably show up a little less than halfway through the season, and will "be a relative, I believe, of Puck," according to Murphy.

Pearce and Newell are likely to be used "later in the season," which means they'll probably be members of show choirs from other schools. Murphy noted that Pearce might be the leader of a rival group, and teased that there might be a confrontation with Lea Michele's Rachel. "I love where she gets in Lea's face," he said. "I believe people would love to see catfights between them onscreen between Lea and Lindsay."
