Russell Brand Is Apparently Dating Ginger Spice

The Olympics are all about unity. They're a time for people of all nations to get together and celebrate their diversity through athletic competition.

They're also about old Brits hooking up.

Rumor has it that two of the participants in The 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony managed to find love, or at least temporary companionship, through the games. Sadly, it wasn't Ryan Lochte and J.K. Rowling, because that would have been hilarious. No, instead it was Russell Brand and Geri Halliwell, a.k.a. Ginger Spice.

Apparently the two met after performing in the ceremony and "hit it off" immediately, and have been spotted out together a number of times since.

Of course, we all know about Brand's history with relationships, especially with pop stars: Brand met Katy Perry after they both appeared in the MTV VMAs. Their very public divorce at the end of last year was big news, and since then Brand had been spotted out with Isabella Brewster (Jordana Brewster's sister). However, rumor has it that Brand dumped Brewster for Halliwell.
