'Rumour Has It' That Adele Is Pregnant!

For all of Adele's bitterness about ex-boyfriends on her hitmaking album "21," she seems to be doing pretty well right now. She has been dating her current boyfriend Simon Konecki for about a year, she has sworn that her next album will be much happier, and... she's pregnant!

Yes, Adele broke the news today on her blog, wanting to give her fans first notice herself:

"Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx"

For now, I'll spare everyone any further Adele song title puns (though I was hoping to incorporate "Rolling in the Doo-Doo").

Adele's recent album sold more than 9 million copies in the US and 16 million in the UK, spawning covers galore and making her songs some of the most often-performed on shows like "The Voice" and "American Idol." Her music has also be covered on "Glee," with a mash-up of "Someone Like You" and "Rumour Has It" marking the show's 300th musical performance.

So congrats to Adele! She's certainly having a better day than Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes...
