'Rules of Engagement' Season 7, Episode 10: 'Cooking Class' Recap

'Rules of Engagement' Season 7, Episode 10: 'Cooking Class' Recap Timmy is ready to take his overdue vacation, catching Russell off-guard, even though Timmy has been very clear.

Timmy gives him the schedule—it’s blank. He has nothing to do without Timmy. He won’t tell Russell where he is going because he will appear.

At the diner, Jeff has brought his own salt, which Jennifer points out is pure M.S.G. She tells them that she and Adam are taking a healthy eating class and they should join. Audrey decides they will.

Timmy returns after two weeks and tells Russell she was in Chicago. Everything seems to have gone smoothly. He met a special woman, in fact. He introduces him to Indian Rahda, who also has a British accent. She works on “Indian Row,” which is how Russell found her.

Adam comes in and greets Timmy and “Lady Timmy.”

At the cooking class, the cook says no butter or salt in the cooking, making Jeff depressed.

Adam preps his chicken, impressing the chef, while Jeff has decimated his chicken. Adam and Jeff decide that they’ll do a competition—loser pays for the class. The chef will judge their finished dishes the next class.

Timmy finds Russell and Rahda at the diner. Rahda does seem to be the female version of Timmy, taking care of Russell. Russell “could not be more into her.”

Audrey finds Jeff practicing slicing tomatoes in the kitchen. He tells her she was right and they should enjoy things together. She calls him out and he tells her about the bet.

At the diner, Russell brings Rahda again. She has cut her hair short, and puts on the same glasses as Timmy.

Audrey tells Jennifer about the bet. Jennifer lets slip that there is no way that their team would win—and Audrey is in. She tells Jeff they have to take them down.

At class, they prepare to win. Jeff tries to bribe the chef but it gets rejected. The teams begin—Adam is a prof, while Jeff drops the chicken and Audrey drinks all the wine.

At work, Rahda now wears a blazer that Russell just bought her, and she checks her e-mail on Timmy’s computer. Timmy comes in and finds her. She notices that they are wearing the same jacket. She gets a call and goes out.

Russell sees Timmy from behind and thinks it is Rahda. He comes up and rubs his shoulders, and whispers that he wants him.

At the class, the chef comes to judge… and refuses at first to even try Jeff and Audrey’s. They complain and he tastes it, surprised and pleased by how good it is, even thought it looks like a “fetid pile of barf.”

Jennifer comes over and finds butter wrappers—they cheated. They chef begins having an allergic reaction—to M.S.G. Audrey admits that she snuck his salt in.

Timmy and Russell try to talk about what happened and Russell accuses Timmy of trying to turn himself into Rahda.
