Rory Gilmore Marries Pete Campbell in Secret Wedding

Congratulations to Rory Gilmore and Pete Campbell! Er, we mean Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser!

The couple reportedly married over the weekend in a secret ceremony, roughly five months after officially confirming their engagement. The two married somewhere in California and managed to tie the knot earlier this summer without much fanfare or attention from the press.

Bledel, 32, and Kartheiser, 35, first met on the set of "Mad Men" when Bledel guest starred as a housewife who had an affair with Kartheiser's morally questionable ad man Pete Campbell. The two started dating shortly after, and made their first red carpet appearance together back in January of 2013.

According to their co-workers, it was pretty much love at first sight. "I do know he liked her from a very early point," said "Mad Men" co-star Jon Hamm. "I was a supporter of that union."

Still, Kartheiser said that he and Bledel were "very professional" and didn't start dating until after they wrapped on their scenes together on the AMC show.

We're just glad to see that the huge-ass vintage-style diamond engagement ring that Kartheiser got for Bledel went to good use!
