Ronnie and Sammi Announce Breakup, 'Jersey Shore' Fans Collectively Roll Eyes

Ronnie and Sammi Announce Breakup, 'Jersey Shore' Fans Collectively Roll Eyes The season finale of "Jersey Shore" is tonight, and Ronnie and Sammi have an announcement to make: they broke up.

No one, anywhere, is at all surprised in any way whatsoever. Also, duh.

The couple have had a pretty tumultuous relationship thus far on the show. Actually, "tumultuous" might be an understatement, but the point is it's been pretty bad. Ronnie Magro and Sammi Giancola have been so on-again, off-again that they make Carrie and Big look like the picture of stability. Yeah, I made a "Sex and the City" reference. Wanna fight about it?

The "relationship" hit its low toward the end of season three, when a good four or five episodes were dedicated to the two of them screaming at each other over something or another. However, things started to look up when they got to Florence to shoot season four.

"The first week was rough — everyone was like 'Oh, my God.' But [Sammi and I] didn't fight at all in Italy. [It was] probably the highest point in our relationship," Ronnie told Us Weekly.

At a Tuesday screening for "Paranormal Activity 3," Ronnie confirmed the breakup: "We're not together," he said.

Looks like we have some more fun to look forward to in season five, eh?
